The Drama Bunker
| What is The Drama Bunker? Glad you asked! It's an inclusive, creative, online space for young performers to create performances with other young artists. We will create comedy masterpieces, dig into classic literature and maybe even sing a song or two. We hope to continue this mission of creating accessible performance experiences, for all kinds of performers, in the Time of Covid and beyond. The theatre may be closed, but all the world's a stage! The Drama Bunker is a harebrained notion from the minds of Cynthia Kirkman Romoff and Ann Brueggemeier Benson. They both saw a need for an outlet for all the quarantined drama nerds, especially the ones in middle and high school. This experiment is the result of their combined 50+ years in performing arts education, a shared love of theater, and a serious lack of judgement. We believe that the world can be saved by a group of kids putting on a show in a barn. Even if that barn is virtual. |
